On Thursday a deal was struck with Rocbottom Studios and Jam Network involving one of the studio's animated properties. Along with the acquisition, creator, Corey ”Roc Bottom” Davis was chosen to oversee the daily duties of Jam Network’s animation division. The mission: Bring back Saturday morning cartoons.
Details on how the studio and network plan to recreate the magic of yesteryear have yet to be released, but it is priority number one for the new network, who has plans on resurrecting the decades-long format made famous by shows such as Superfriends, Scooby-Doo, Animaniacs, and X-Men: The Animated Series, to name a few.
